Job Title: Critical Infrastructure Engineer Level 2 Location: Navi Mumbai - Airoli Experience: 3 to 7 years Department: Infrastructure Operations / Facilities Engineering Reports To: Infrastructure Manager / Senior Facilities Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Critical Infrastructure Engineer with 37 years of experience in monitoring and maintaining critical infrastructure systemsspecifically power and HVAC systems. The role demands real-time system monitoring, incident response, preventive maintenance tracking, and compliance documentation to ensure optimal uptime and performance in a high-availability environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Monitoring Power Systems Continuously monitor power distribution systems (UPS, generators, electrical panels) for performance and uptime. Track power usage and efficiency; identify and report anomalies such as voltage fluctuations or overload conditions. 2. Monitoring HVAC Systems Monitor HVAC infrastructure (CRACs, air handlers, chilled water systems) to maintain optimal equipment room temperature and humidity. Ensure efficient cooling performance and identify early signs of wear or inefficiencies. 3. Real-Time Alerts & Incident Response Configure real-time alerts for system failures, threshold breaches, or degradation in performance. Act immediately on alerts by performing diagnostics and escalating to relevant stakeholders when necessary. 4. Data Logging & Reporting Maintain accurate and detailed logs of system performance, anomalies, and interventions. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on infrastructure health and incident status for internal use and audits. 5. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution Analyze and identify root causes of issues or failures in critical systems. Collaborate with vendors and technical teams for prompt resolution and preventive action. 6. Incident Documentation Ensure complete documentation of incidents, diagnostics, and corrective actions taken. Analyze incident trends to identify recurring problems and propose long-term solutions. 7. Preventive Maintenance Monitoring Track preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution to avoid downtime. Set up alerts for upcoming maintenance tasks and coordinate with maintenance teams or vendors. 8. Compliance & Audit Support Monitor systems to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards (energy efficiency, environmental norms). Assist during audits and provide required documentation and reports. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 37 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring (power and HVAC systems). Hands-on experience with monitoring tools, sensors, and SCADA systems is preferred. Familiarity with data centers or high-availability environments is an added advantage. Soft Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent documentation and incident tracking abilities. Calm and composed approach to problem-solving in high-pressure scenarios. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Co-ordinate with Building operation teams to set up the best maintenance standards and practices Need to manage a periodical inspections for the property on Energy conservation, Maintenance practices, Utility management and Risk management procedures Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance program to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment Conduct regular audits on process to ensure the procedures are being followed and adhered with by the FM staff Contribute to the Monthly Management Report To provide the coaching/mentoring for Engineers, or subordinates and guide them to develop their own development plans and to review and to measure their performance regularly Ensure all safety procedures, including Crisis Management/ Business Continuity and Emergency Procedures are maintained at all times Ensure all works are compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards Ensure that service delivery teams and on-site contractors undergo a Health and Safety Induction prior to deployment Prepare thought through risk assessments for self-delivery Respond to critical out-of-hours issues & participate as a key team member in
