Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Oversee inventory management including conducting and reconciling physical counts at various sites.
Monitor and report monthly COGS, ensuring accuracy and highlighting variances.
Track GRN & GI reports on a daily basis and highlight any delays or mismatches.
Validate business cases and rate proposals by analyzing cost assumptions and impact.
Coordinate and prepare the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with cost projections.
Monitor budgets regularly and ensure cost control in line with approved limits.
Validate Purchase Orders raised by Operations and SCM teams against budgets.
Ensure all costs are correctly posted in relevant cost centers and generate cost center-wise reports for variable and fixed costs.
Prepare site-wise margin reports and conduct monthly variance analysis against AOP.
Drive automation initiatives related to the costing function for better efficiency and reporting.
Work out the Product Costing and validate the RM, Labor & other direct cost of a product
Do site visit to do the process audit for the GRN, GI & Other Inventory related process and provide the site visit report.

Required Qualification : CA/CWA

Note: Travel Frequency : 10-12 day in Various sites in Chennai & Once / Twice in a month Outside Chennai
