Job Title: Dean School of Business Studies (Postgraduate Programs) Location: Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India Experience Required: More than 20 Years Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Management/Business Administration or relevant specialization Global Exposure: At least one academic degree (MBA or Ph.D.) from an international university is preferred Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced academic leader to serve as Dean School of Business Studies (PG Programs). The ideal candidate should have led academic functions at top-tier private business schools such as BIMTECH, SP Jain, NMIMS, or similar institutions, and bring a strong mix of academic credibility, global exposure, and industry orientation. Key Responsibilities: Academic & Strategic Leadership: o Lead all academic, administrative, and strategic initiatives for the PG programs (MBA and related disciplines). o Drive curriculum innovation, pedagogy enhancement, and global benchmarking. Faculty Development: o Attract, develop, and retain high-quality faculty with industry and academic experience. o Foster a culture of case-based, experiential, and research-driven teaching. Industry & Global Linkages: o Build strong partnerships with corporates, MNCs, and international academic institutions. o Facilitate international exchange programs, visiting faculty collaborations, and global immersion programs. Student Outcomes & Brand Building: o Drive placements, career development programs, and entrepreneurial initiatives. o Represent the business school in national/international forums and rankings. Research & Innovation: o Encourage faculty and students in publishing research, consulting projects, and thought leadership initiatives. o Promote interdisciplinary research and executive education programs. Compliance & Quality: o Ensure academic and regulatory compliance with bodies such as UGC, AICTE, and NAAC. o Lead institutional accreditation, NIRF, and international ranking efforts. Ideal Candidate Profile: 20+ years of academic/administrative experience, with a substantial part spent in leadership roles (Dean, Director, Associate Dean, or HoD) in reputed business schools. Prior experience with leading institutions such as BIMTECH, SP Jain, NMIMS, ISB, XLRI, or other top-tier private universities. Ph.D. in Management, with proven academic and research credentials. At least one degree from a foreign university (MBA or Ph.D.) is strongly preferred. Candidates from South Indian or Maharashtrian backgrounds will be given preference for cultural and institutional alignment.
