Job Description: As a Senior Controls Software Engineer will have overall responsibility of developing and managing software for control systems, particularly in industrial settings. Perform a wide variety of duties including implementation of control algorithms in software, development of software data file structures, terminal display formatting and software for data transmission with detailed emphasis on programming using assembly level languages, Jetter PLC language / Visual C++ / C# and other higher-level languages. Understanding of HMI/SCADA development, and experience with Allen Bradly software are often required. Execute complete electrical designs, create professional electrical schematics and panel layouts. Perform Design Reviews with Internal & External Customers. Requirements and Experience: Over 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, programming, and implementing control systems for custom automation projects. Extensive experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and software developers, to integrate control systems seamlessly into automation projects. Strong understanding of custom automation requirements, with the ability to tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of clients. Excellent documentation skills, including the creation of control system architecture diagrams, wiring schematics, and user manuals. Ability to provide technical support and expertise during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases of custom automation projects. Proficient in programming Jetter PLCs/ Structured Text , and other control devices to achieve precise control and monitoring of automation processes. As an Assembly Technician Electrical, you will be responsible for the electrical assembly of automated assembly machines, robotic projects & advanced technology products. Your role will involve troubleshooting and solving issues arising during assembly, providing alternate solutions and improvements, and working closely with QA/Controls engineers for testing of sub-assemblies and machines. It will be your responsibility to troubleshoot the equipment to enhance reliability and reduce MTBF, ensuring that the machine or automation solution is trouble-free before shipment to the customer. Additionally, you will need to log and report any defects or reliability issues to your supervisor, maintain the workbenches and assembly area in an orderly manner, assist with receiving and shipment of equipment, and comply with all safety protocols such as wearing safety glasses, safety shoes, and gloves as required. Long travels to customer sites for installation and commissioning of machines will be part of your job, where you will take responsibility for resolving any issues that may arise. Moreover, you will be expected to maintain a log of the work done and submit it to your supervisor at the end of each workday, travel to customer sites for servicing of machines and AMC's which may be located anywhere within India or abroad. As a controls engineer in an HVDC project, you will be involved in multiple topics over the duration of the project, starting with the concept description for the control system and the parametrization of all required interfaces from the control system to other systems. You will continue with the implementation and verification of the control logic in MATLAB/SIMULINK according to customer requirements. Finally, you will be involved in loading the compiled control software onto the target hardware and performing tests on the hardware in the loop setup to verify the final performance.
