Role & responsibilities Operate and monitor plant processes using DCS/SCADA systems to ensure stable and safe production. Coordinate with field operators and maintenance teams to manage process parameters and troubleshoot issues. Analyze real-time data to optimize production efficiency and reduce downtime. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift handover documentation. Respond quickly to alarms and deviations, taking corrective actions as required. Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. Preferred candidate profile Monitor and control plant operations through DCS/SCADA systems to ensure consistent and safe production of iron and steel. Coordinate with field operators and shift supervisors to implement operational changes and resolve process deviations. Analyze real-time data and performance metrics to optimize process efficiency and minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards by following established SOPs and regulatory guidelines. Report system alarms, failures, and abnormal conditions promptly, initiating corrective actions as needed. Maintain logs and documentation of daily operations, process changes, and maintenance activities for shift handovers and audits.
