Job Title: Continental CDP (Chef de Partie)

Department: Kitchen / F&B Production
Location: CHENNAI
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Continental Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality continental dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of continental cuisine dishes to the highest standards.
Ensure consistency in presentation and taste.
Maintain proper portion control and food hygiene.
Supervise and support commis chefs in your section.
Ensure proper stock rotation, storage, and inventory.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet service standards and guest expectations.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in your section.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CDP or DCDP in a hotel or restaurant environment specializing in continental cuisine.
Strong knowledge of European/Western cooking techniques and ingredients.
Culinary certification or relevant training preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Good communication and time management skills.
