What were looking for
We re hiring a Content Strategist to lead content quality, mentor writers, and drive our content direction especially across our blog. This is a role for someone who s both creative and analytical, and is as comfortable writing a blog post as they are shaping the overall content roadmap.
You ll help our content team ship better, sharper, more useful content, every week.
You ll be a great fit if...
- You really know what great content looks like and can tell the difference between what s just okay and what s actually valuable
- You ve mentored writers before or have a strong instinct for coaching others
- You come from a tech/product/engineering or deep SaaS writing background
- You enjoy learning how a product works and then making it simple for readers to understand
- You can build and own an effective blog + SEO strategy, not just execute someone else s
- You can work independently, manage projects, and ship on time without handholding
What youll do
- Own the blog: everything from SEO strategy and editorial calendar to publishing and performance
- Set the content bar: review and improve the work of other writers, and actively coach them to get better
- Build a blog/SEO roadmap that aligns with product direction and customer pain points
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deeply understand what we re building and why and ensure our blog reflects that
- Conduct content audits, identify content gaps, and spot opportunities that others miss
- Write high-quality pieces when needed especially for critical product launches, high-impact topics, or example-setting pieces
- Partner with the SEO team to identify, test, and optimize content for discoverability and relevance
- Use data tools (like Google Analytics, Search Console) to monitor blog performance and double down on what s working
- Create strong content briefs that align with reader intent, and guide the design team on visuals (infographics, feature diagrams, etc.)
What you must have
- 3-6 years of experience in content writing or strategy, ideally in a SaaS or WordPress ecosystem
- A strong portfolio of blogs or content projects where you ve owned strategy and driven growth
- Experience coaching or editing other writers
- Knowledge of WordPress using it, publishing with it, and ideally testing plugins or features
- Deep understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and content optimization
- Solid editorial judgment and writing skills yourself
- Ability to think product-first, not just keyword-first
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMRush, etc.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience building or running a personal blog/YouTube channel
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS/Markdown
- Worked in a product-led growth (PLG) SaaS environment
