As an Architect at Red Hat Services, you will be the go-to expert for customers seeking to build strategic and scalable systems. Based in Mumbai and covering the Asia Pacific region, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing modern platforms, onboarding cloud-native applications, and leading architecture engagements using cutting-edge open source technologies. Working alongside a team of consultants who are leaders in open hybrid cloud, platform modernization, automation, and emerging practices, including AI integration, you will collaborate with customers in agile teams to create innovative prototypes that drive real business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing modern platform architectures, collaborating with infrastructure teams on Kubernetes container platforms, leading the discovery and delivery of cloud-native applications, and co-creating AI-ready platforms with customers. Additionally, you will be involved in presenting strategic roadmaps, supporting technical presales efforts, and contributing to the development of consulting offerings and capability playbooks. To excel in this role, you should have strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift, as well as expertise in managing multiple Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud environments. You should also possess leadership skills in software and platform transformation projects, hands-on coding experience in multiple languages, and familiarity with infrastructure as code, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines. Furthermore, you will need to demonstrate practical understanding of microservices, API design, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both with technical and business audiences, are essential, along with the willingness to travel up to 40% of the time. Experience with Red Hat OpenShift AI, Open Data Hub, or similar MLOps platforms, as well as foundational knowledge of AI/ML and engagement in open source communities, are considered nice-to-have qualifications.
