Consultant Landscape Architecture

As a Consultant in Landscape Architecture at WSP, you will play a crucial role in offering expert advice and guidance on landscape design, architecture, and planning initiatives. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and various stakeholders to craft innovative and sustainable landscape designs. This will encompass a wide array of projects, ranging from urban planning and public spaces to residential and commercial developments. Your tasks will include providing specialized knowledge in plant selection, hardscape materials, and sustainable design principles. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering design proposals and reports to clients and project teams, conducting site analysis, environmental impact assessments, and feasibility studies. Additionally, you will oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, while also providing insights on planning regulations, environmental conservation, and green infrastructure initiatives. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in landscape design and architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software is essential. A strong grasp of sustainable design principles and environmental conservation practices is required. Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills are also key, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in landscape architecture will be vital.
