Preparation & Release of process planning documents like MIS, Route card, PD, MOS, HWI, visual aids and other Engineering documents for approved projects to implement FPQ / FAI as per the agreed Timelines. 2. Prepare & Release the Requirement generation documents like EBOM, PBOM, SAP BOM Update for FPQ / FAI as per the agreed Timelines. 3. Raise indent to purchase department for procurement of raw materials, consumables, cutters, Hand tools or CAPEX Equipment required during FAI / LSP. 4. Study & implement Continuous improvement activities related to raw materials, consumables, cutters, cycle time reductions, suggestions for process, design improvements in the respective programmes. 5. Knowledge of GD&T requirements, CATIA, 3D VIEWER, MS OFFICE, SAP working on MM, BOM, Routing creations. Job Purpose: To ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement of materials, components, and services essential for manufacturing composite parts for rolling stock (e.g., train and metro carriages), in alignment with production schedules and organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for raw materials (e.g., glass fiber, resin systems, core materials), tools, and consumables specific to FRP/composite components. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors. Procurement Operations: Raise purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders. Ensure procurement is done as per technical specifications and quality standards. Track and expedite delivery schedules to avoid production delays. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain good relationships with domestic and international suppliers. Conduct vendor assessments and audits in coordination with QA and engineering teams. Cost Management: Drive cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing, value engineering, and bulk procurement. Maintain cost sheets and compare quotes for effective decision-making. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and relevant certifications (ISO, IRIS, etc.). Maintain accurate procurement records and support internal/external audits. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to understand material requirements. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for material receipt and inspection.

Job Purpose: To manage and execute all paint shop operations related to FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic) components for rolling stock(railway/metro coach) applications, ensuring high-quality surface finishes, process compliance, safety, and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Paint Shop Operations Supervise daily painting activities including surface preparation, priming, base coat, and top coat application on FRP components. Ensure proper curing and drying parameters are met according to technical specifications. Manage manpower, materials, and equipment to meet production schedules. Quality & Process Control Ensure adherence to specified paint thickness, gloss level, color shade, adhesion, and finish standards. Conduct visual inspections and tests (DFT, cross hatch, gloss meter, etc.) to ensure compliance with customer and internal quality norms. Identify surface defects (e.g., pinholes, delamination, orange peel) and drive corrective/preventive actions. Documentation & Compliance Maintain paint batch records, daily production logs, and inspection reports. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and paint specifications provided by design and quality teams. Comply with all EHS guidelines related to paint and solvent usage. Coordination & Continuous Improvement Coordinate with design, production planning, quality, and stores for timely availability of jigs, fixtures, consumables, and components. Drive lean initiatives, 5S, and Kaizen in the paint shop area to improve efficiency and reduce rework. Work with OEM vendors and suppliers to validate and select paint systems suitable for FRP substrates. Preferred Experience: Experience in painting FRP or GRP components for the railway/automotive/defense sector.

Roles and Responsibilities Knowledge on anodizing, priming, surface treatment, bonding, SPD, Nadcap (National Aerospace Defense Contractors Association) composite manufacturing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop and maintain documentation of all experimental results, including protocols, procedures, and reports. Provide technical support to production team on troubleshooting issues related to process deviations or defects.

Role & responsibilities Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of tools, Jigs & fixtures, moulds, mandrels for composite components using CAD software (e.g., Autocad, CATIA, SolidWorks, NX). Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, and weight optimization for composite parts. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100 and customer-specific standards. Create detailed technical documentation, including design reports, test plans, and validation documents. Perform structural, thermal, and fatigue analysis using FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus). Support Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies for aerodynamic components. Validate designs through hand calculations and industry-standard analytical methods. Coordinate with production teams for prototype development. Develop and execute testing plans to validate structural integrity and performance. Interpret test data and refine designs to meet functional and performance requirements. Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure design manufacturability. Develop layup schedules, tooling requirements, and process specifications for composite parts. Support process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency. Maintain design records, material traceability, and change management documentation per ISO/AS9100 requirements. Participate in Design Reviews, Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Risk Assessments. Liaise with defence customers to gather technical requirements and present design solutions. Work with suppliers to validate materials, components, and manufacturing processes. Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
