Cloud Architect - Google Cloud Platform

You are a highly skilled Cloud Architect with expertise in Java/Python and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tasked with designing, implementing, and overseeing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. Your role involves leveraging your strong hands-on experience in cloud architecture, application development, and deployment, along with a deep understanding of GCP services and cloud best practices. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud architectures using GCP, developing cloud-native applications and microservices using Java and/or Python, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architecture, and deliver solutions, leading cloud migration efforts for existing on-premise or hybrid systems to GCP, optimizing cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, establishing and enforcing cloud governance, policies, and security standards, creating and maintaining detailed documentation of cloud architecture and processes, as well as mentoring and guiding development teams on cloud best practices and emerging technologies. As a Cloud Architect, you are expected to have proven experience with a focus on GCP, strong programming skills in Java and/or Python, expertise in GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, etc., hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization tools, proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and network architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively. Preferred qualifications include GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect).,
