Role: As part of the Private Equity Fund Administration (PEFA) team, your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive administration, financial accounting, and investor reporting services to third-party clients. You will be tasked with tracking private equity funds partner's capital account statements, reconciling them with the accounting system, and reviewing private equity deliverables prepared by team members. Additionally, you will be involved in reconciling bank statements and capital activities recorded for individual investors. Core Competencies And Skills Required: To excel in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of the private equity fund structure, including the roles of General Partners and Limited Partners. Proficiency in the Investran accounting platform is essential, along with sound knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles. You should demonstrate operational expertise, including secondary review and controls, risk mitigation, and the ability to address technical and non-technical issues independently. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are crucial, as well as strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities. The role also requires the ability to handle multiple tasks under time-sensitive conditions and act as a point of reference for queries while ensuring accuracy in review, verification, accounting, and audit processes. Major Duties And Key Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include conducting quality assurance checks on internal information, managing complex transactions related to PE fund activities, collaborating with home locations to resolve queries, maintaining procedure documents and client specifications, and adhering to controls and procedures outlined in the manual. You will review and sign off on reports and reconciliations, identify areas for process improvement, ensure timely completion of work, and utilize technology efficiently. Additionally, you will report operational issues to management, flag service delivery issues early, and contribute to training and coaching new team members. Education and Qualifications: Ideal candidates for this role are qualified Chartered Accountants with article ship experience or Certified Management Accountants with at least 2 years of relevant work experience. A minimum of 4.5 years of experience in private equity, fund accounting, or financial administration is required.
