Job Description: The Estimation engineer will p repare detailed estimates for different projects. Revise and conclude incoming Requests for Proposals (RFP’s), Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Need to quickly and thoroughly gain technical & commercial knowledge of all company’s products, systems, as well as competitor’s products & systems. Key Activities & Responsibilities: Develop and verify Material Take Off (MTOs), equipment and bulk quantities against P&IDs and drawings. Develop multi-discipline concepts, detailed and definitive cost estimates for Projects. Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with defined scope of work. Interact with multiple organizations to review, discuss project scope and estimate basis and consult on company estimating methods/procedures. Support technically in review of design packages and drawings. Assist project management and contracting personnel with bid analysis and contract negotiations. Liason with Suppliers for material availability, cost & delivery for projects. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. Cold Calling and Sales Coordination. Upgrade on changing developments in estimating advances by reviewing technical literature, contact with contractors, visits to construction locations and attending professional and technical meetings. Study and interpret Engineering drawing and technical specifications to develop estimates. Assist in make and buy estimate decision process. Collaborate with service, projects, products and management to determine various solutions required for projects. Identify and target potential clients for AMC sales through research and networking. Present and demonstrate the benefits of our AMC offerings, effectively communicating value propositions to clients. Negotiate contract terms and pricing to finalize sales and achieve revenue goals. Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients. Education: · Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration / Engineering or Industrial Design. Experience: Proven working experience of at least 2 years in project estimation or in a related field. Required Skills and Capabilities: Be comfortable using Estimation Software preferably Zoho Books or similar software. Be confident using MS Excel.
