Cleo Developer / EDI Integration Developer

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cleo Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain B2B integrations using Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) or other Cleo products such as Clarify, Harmony, or VLTrader. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with EDI, API, and other data integration methods, and be comfortable working with trading partners, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop integration workflows using Cleo tools (CIC Studio, Clarify, Harmony, VLTrader, etc.) Configure and manage EDI (X12, EDIFACT), XML, flat files, and API-based transactions. Collaborate with business analysts, technical leads, and trading partners to understand integration requirements. Implement and support B2B integrations with customers, suppliers, and partners. Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide long-term fixes. Monitor integration jobs, schedules, and message flows within Cleo. Manage Cleo system upgrades, patching, and ongoing platform optimization. Develop and maintain documentation for mappings, processes, and support guides. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 25+ years of experience in EDI/B2B integration development, preferably using Cleo Integration Cloud. Experience with Cleo products: CIC Studio, Clarify, Harmony, VLTrader. Strong understanding of data formats (EDI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, Flat files). Experience in API development (REST/SOAP) and integration frameworks. Familiarity with SFTP, AS2, FTP, HTTPS protocols. Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., JavaScript, Shell, Python) is a plus. Experience working in Agile or SDLC environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
