Civil Engineer(Industrial Projects)

Site Execution:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil execution activities related to structural works (foundation, columns, beams, slabs, RCC, etc.).
  
• Ensure timely execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety norms.
  

1. Structural Work Handling:

• Review and interpret structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and construction details.
  
• Coordinate with structural consultants, and resolve discrepancies between drawings and site conditions.
  

2. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure workmanship and materials conform to quality standards and project specifications.
  
• Conduct inspection and testing of construction activities (e.g., cube testing, reinforcement checks, shuttering alignment).
  

3. Planning & Coordination:

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other site teams (mechanical, electrical, etc.) for uninterrupted workflow.
  
• Track and report daily progress and resource utilization to the site/project manager.
  

4. Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain daily progress reports, inspection checklists, quality control records, and material reconciliation.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and labor laws applicable to the site.
  

5. Material & Manpower Management:

• Estimate and requisition materials, equipment, and manpower required for structural work.
  
• Monitor consumption and minimize wastage.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Education:

  Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

• Experience:

  3 to 7 years in civil execution of industrial projects

• Skills:

• Sound knowledge of structural construction methods and materials
  
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera (basic), and MS Office
  
• Ability to read and interpret GFC drawings, BBS, and layout plans
  
• Strong interpersonal and site coordination skills
