As Citrix SME you’ll be responsible for the support, implementation, and maintenance of Apex’s production and non production cutting-edge Citrix environments build on the most advanced DaaS technology – Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop for Azure. This will involve developing detailed documentation for Technology teams and management as well as strategic planning and implementation. Your daily challenge will be identifying and solving complex problems, providing Subject Matter Expertise Consultation and participating in project Implementation activities Key duties and responsibilities Build an excellent awareness of the Apex business requirements and in-depth knowledge of the Citrix environment and support processes Provide deep-level troubleshooting in conjunction with vendor/third-party support providers within the applicable technology platform Provides Subject Matter Expertise on applicable technologies Collaborates with service providers and external vendors on root cause analysis for problems related to technology and provide detailed diagnostic information when required. Recommends, implements and document corrective solutions and preventative measures Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of new technology solutions Document policies, standards and knowledgebase articles Participate in the release management lifecycle Participate in Technical Advisory Board (TAB) / Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to determine the impact of, provided feedback on, and approve/decline changes for Apex environment changes Participate in Root Cause Analysis in Problem Management lifecycle activities Perform on-call duties as needed to support technology services to business. Experience and skills Excellent written and communication skills in English Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline 7+ years experience as system administrator in a Windows based or Citrix environments Solid experience in administrating Citrix server, application and desktop virtualizations Experience with NetScaler ADC will be considered as an advantage Mandatory CCA certification Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) or Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA) – Desirable Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE), Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) will be considered as strong advantage Solid experience in administrating Citrix server, application and desktop virtualizations Experience with NetScaler ADC will be considered as an advantage Proven skills in Microsoft cloud technologies including Office 365, Azure, Azure AD, Intune, AD connect; ADFS, SSO, WAP and etc. Experience in implementing and troubleshooting Active Directory, GPO and other adjacent Windows server services like DNS, DHCP, DFS,DFSR, File and print services, CA, IIS and etc. Good PowerShell scripting is requirement Excellent problem-solving abilities and good at working under own initiative Ability to take ownership of a technical solution and work with a number of stakeholders (internal and external) to deliver a design and implementation approach Ability to articulate design topics, using tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, and any modelling tools utilising ArchiMate Ability to be able to work well under pressure Familiar with common technologies for backup, archiving, and system administration Certification in frameworks such as ITIL v3, ISO 27001 would be an advantage
