Job Summary:

Ambedkar Institute of Higher Education is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth cash handling operations. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, integrity, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing payments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Reconcile cash registers and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in fee collection and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with the accounts department for financial accuracy.
• Handle student and staff queries regarding payments and fees.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and security procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in cash handling or accounts-related work.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• High level of honesty and integrity.
