Educational Qualification :15 years full time educationKey Responsibilities:Test Automation Lead:Defines test automation vision and drives its implementation, setting targets and tracking progress. Escalation point for test automation issues and coordination with vendor. Oversee in-sprint testing, manage defects, and refine regression test suites.Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Test Scripts:Create and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca to ensure comprehensive test coverage for various aspects of the application, including UI, API, and database interactions. Test Strategy and Planning:Participate in defining the test strategy and planning for projects, ensuring that automated tests are aligned with overall quality goals and business requirements. Execute and Analyze Test Suites:Execute test suites and analyze results to identify defects, track progress, and improve test coverage. Database Testing and SQL:Perform database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and application functionality. Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate effectively with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve issues, and ensure successful test execution. Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, scripts, and results to facilitate troubleshooting and future maintenance. Performance Optimization:Identify and address performance bottlenecks in automated tests to ensure efficient and reliable execution. Mentorship and Guidance:May be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior test automation engineers. Continuous Improvement:Proactively identify areas for improvement in the test automation process and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectivenessRequired

Skills:

Expert-level proficiency in Tosca Testsuite:Deep understanding of Tosca's capabilities, features, and best practices. SQL and Database Testing:Strong knowledge of SQL and experience in performing database testing and data validation. Automation Framework Development:Experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks. Agile/Scrum:Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and their application to test automation. SDLC and STLC:Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC). Problem-solving and analytical skills:Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to automated tests. Communication and collaboration skills:Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and collaborate on test projects.
