The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various types of product testing, maintaining test records, and assisting the Senior Testing Engineer in day-to-day operations. Review and maintain test reports and data logs accurately. Assist the Senior Testing Engineer in testing operations and data management. Designation: Cable Design (Export/Domestic) Job Summary: Cable Design holds a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for analyzing customer specifications and formulating comprehensive cable systems, designs, and associated accessories. This role involves detailed assessments, adherence to industry standards, technical calculations, and close collaboration with the marketing team to support the Head of Department (HOD). Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct technical evaluations of various cables in compliance with IS/IEC/BS/AS-NZS Standards. Analyze customer technical documentation to propose efficient system designs. Perform electrical and thermal performance calculations for cable systems. Assist the Marketing team by providing technical expertise, ensuring alignment with specifications. Draft and refine calculation notes until customer approval is obtained. Compile essential information for system qualification. Develop and validate specialized calculation procedures using standard inputs and international standards. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to address technical customer requirements. Focus on functional and performance requisites, drawing from past design experiences. Specify product characteristics necessary for safe and proper usage, adapting designs as needed. Prepare Guaranteed Technical Particulars, cable drawings/ Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and Raw Material (RM) calculations based on customer specifications. Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in utilizing specific tools, machines, and processes. Roles and Responsibilities Conduct quality inspections of wire harnesses, cables, and cable assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications. Perform process quality assurance activities such as crimping, extrusion processing, and cable testing to identify defects or deviations from standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions for non-conforming products or processes. Develop and maintain documentation related to quality control procedures, test plans, and reports. Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards by conducting regular audits and monitoring performance metrics. Desired Candidate Profile 1-5 years of experience in a similar role within the electronics manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of quality inspection principles, including visual examination techniques. Proficiency in performing various types of tests on wire harnesses, cables, and cable assemblies (e.g., electrical continuity testing). Familiarity with relevant industry standards (ISO 9001) and regulations (RoHS). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Execute end-to-end execution of hardware & networking projects, including site surveys, device setup, structured cabling, and cable tray work. Ensure timely delivery, client coordination, quality compliance, and detailed project reporting.

JOB PURPOSE/MANDATE To handle complete QC function (Testing & Inspection) of all Cable Plants Responsible for IQC, In process and OQC Quality assurance Developing and implementing Poka-yokes at each processing stage/step as well as in system through engineering controls To drive all KPIs of Quality under RADAR (Performance and System) To give training on all Required Quality tools to staff and operators/workers on regular basis To release weekly/fortnightly/monthly MIS on KPIS/RADAR/COPQ To attend customer complaint by Onsight visits and close them with prevention and detection controls - To ensure PFMEA for every existing and new process with control plan in place - To handle complete Inspection and RM and product test lab - To ensure Quality of Cables as per IS and international test standards as required - To have regular CARE audits for product evaluation and mitigation of all observations - To ensure each change or new product is introduced through Phase gate change management process and strict validation - To develop Reliability jigs/fixture/equipments time to time need based and as per standards and requirements.

Sound knowledge of transformers,its construction/working & the problems faced during its service at site Interpretation of technical specs for domestic & export jobs, relevant mfg./customer drawings knowledge of testing as per IS/IEC/ANSI/IEEE stds. Required Candidate profile Tamil, English – Speak & Write Essential, working knowledge of Hindi. Expertise to carry out type, routine and special test on transformer up to 400 KV class.
