Key Responsibilities: Drive concept design and development of Cab systems and components (Structure & Trims). Create BOMs, CAD layouts , mechanism/assembly arrangements, and production drawings . Manage engineering documentation, change notices & release them through PLM systems . Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers for seamless project execution . Contribute to product cost reduction (VA/VE) , service issue resolution, and prototype builds . Ensure compliance with ergonomics, safety, and DVPSOR requirements. Profile & Experience: Experience in Cab Design (preferably Off-highway Equipment or Automotive BIW & trims. Strong understanding of Cab systems/operator station component development. Experience designing sheet metal, plastic parts , and system-level integration within vehicle layout. Exposure to assembly & manufacturing techniques , and quality processes . Hands-on involvement in proto build , ergonomic analysis, HVAC systems, NVH , and compliance standards is a big plus. Technical Skillset: Proficient in CAD tools UG NX preferred. Familiar with DFMEA , DFM-DFA , GD&T , tolerance stack-up , space claim studies . Strong communication and collaboration skills. Should be graduated in B.Tech/BE with 3-7 years of experience on Design & Development of Cab Structure and Trims components preferably of mobile CEs such as Wheeled Loaders, Backhoe Loaders and Excavators & tractors. Or Automotive with BIW & trims experience Role & responsibilities 1. Concept design and development of Cab systems/components 2. Create BOM, CAD Layout (Mechanism/Assembly arrangements) and Production Drawings for the Cab systems/components 3. Prepare Engineering Documentation & Change Notices and release into JCB PLM System 4. Co-ordination with Internal & External Customers/Vendors/Suppliers for execution of Project activities 5. Should have a very good understanding of Cab systems / operator station component design and development 2. Should be able to support Prototype build activities on Projects undertaken. 5. Exposer to compliance requirements related to Cab design & development.
