Business Finance - Revenue Recognition - Global Tech Services

As a Business Finance professional, you will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and communicating the monthly executive Business Unit pack review. Your role will involve providing meaningful insights and commentary to depict the financial outlook, along with delivering financial analysis from a business perspective to effectively communicate financial trends and variances to expected results. Additionally, you will be tasked with generating metrics, ad hoc reports, and dashboards that contribute to steering business decisions. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in recommending strategic changes aimed at increasing revenues, optimizing costs, and enhancing profitability. Building strong relationships within the finance team and with business units will be essential, as well as collaborating cross-functionally to gain insights into finance-related activities. Maintaining open communication with business partners to proactively address activities with financial implications is also a key aspect of this role. Other responsibilities will include participating in monthly revenue forecasting exercises, facilitating the annual budgeting cycle, and reviewing deals to ensure accurate cost considerations and competitive pricing aligned with market standards. You will also be expected to review documents such as Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Statements of Work (SoWs) from a commercial perspective, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and flagging exceptions for necessary approvals.,
