Business Development Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and share marketing plans that help the business reach its goals
• Conduct market research to find out customers interests and requirements
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
• Prospect for new business across assigned territories or accounts
• Cold call prospective clients to initiate sales opportunities
• Assess client needs and present suitable products, services and solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
• Negotiate pricing and contracts to close sales deals
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver excellent service to clients
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
• Participate in exhibitions, conferences and networking events
• Analyse sales data and activity to identify areas for improvement
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion and closing skills
• Tenacity and perseverance in prospecting and closing deals
• Evaluate and improve marketing efforts consistently using data and feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a similar field
• Minimum 5– 1 0 yrs experience in sales filed.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing plans and campaigns
• Strong skills in analyzing and solving problems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of market research, customer segmentation, and data analysis
• Knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies
• Ability to build rapport and long-lasting relationships
• Confident communicator with outstanding presentation abilities
• Active listening and questioning skills for needs assessment
