Business Development Manager (Redevelopment)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and driven professional to lead business development initiatives focused on redevelopment opportunities in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential societies, managing stakeholder relationships, conducting feasibility analysis, and driving the end-to-end process from acquisition to closure. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Sourcing Identify potential residential societies/apartments for redevelopment (SRA, MHADA, society redevelopments). Build and maintain a robust pipeline through market mapping, cold calls, site visits, and networking. Stakeholder Management Engage with society members, managing committees, housing federations, and consultants. Conduct presentations and meetings to pitch redevelopment proposals. Project Evaluation Coordinate with internal teams for technical, legal, and financial due diligence. Perform preliminary feasibility analysis including FSI calculations, potential layouts, and ROI. Documentation & Negotiation Draft MOUs, LOIs, and Development Agreements in coordination with legal advisors. Negotiate commercial terms and finalize redevelopment agreements with societies. Liaisoning & Compliance Work closely with architects, legal teams, and government authorities (e.g., MCGM, SRA, MHADA). Ensure compliance with local redevelopment regulations and policies. Reporting & Strategy Provide regular updates to senior management on leads, progress, and deal closures. Assist in strategic planning for long-term redevelopment business growth. Requirements: Bachelors degree in business, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). Proven experience in real estate, specifically in redevelopment projects in Mumbai. Strong knowledge of Mumbai redevelopment regulations (e.g., DCPR 2034, SRA norms). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong network within Mumbai's real estate ecosystem.
