Job Description / Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven International Sales Manager for our API division, focused on semi-regulated & regulated international & domestic markets. Based in Shivajinagar, Pune, the role involves identifying direct clients, mapping the Total Addressable Market (TAM), driving new business development (NBD), and coordinating with cross-functional teams to grow the API business in select global regions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Identification & Market Mapping

Identify and onboard direct international clients in semi-regulated markets

Conduct in-depth TAM mapping to prioritize focus region

Track industry demand trends and proactively identify strategic opportunities.

2. New Business Development (NBD)

Generate leads through market research, digital platforms, and global exhibitions.

Drive sampling, quotation, negotiations, and commercial closure of new deals.

Maintain a healthy pipeline aligned with business volume and profitability goals.

3. Client Relationship & Account Management

Act as the primary contact for customer onboarding, issue resolution, and retention.

Ensure timely communication and fulfillment of regulatory, commercial, and logistical requirements.

Build long-term customer relationships with consistent follow-up and performance tracking.

4. Team Coordination & Execution

Coordinate internally with Production, QA/QC, Regulatory, and Logistics for seamless client servicing.

Ensure availability of required documentation (e.g., CoA, MOA, COO, Technical Packages).

Work with internal support teams to track product readiness and order timelines.

5. Reporting & Strategy Support

Report regularly on sales activities, client development status, and product-specific progress.

Provide market feedback to the Managing Director for decision-making and sales strategy realignment.

Monitor competitors and pricing benchmarks in focus territories.

Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Experience in handling international B2B clients directly.

Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.

Open to travel, when required, for client visits or trade fairs.
