Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in the Content Management & Publishing function. This role is focused on identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the companys growth objectives. Individual will play a pivotal role in driving revenue through strategic lead generation, market research, proposal development, and effective contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Identification & Prospecting:

    • Identify and research potential clients within target markets to generate new business leads.
    • Develop a robust pipeline by using various prospecting methods, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build, develop, and nurture long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.
    • Work closely with the Business Unit (BU) to tailor solutions to client needs and ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Market Research & Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, identify new business opportunities, and assess the competitive landscape.
    • Analyze competitor strategies and adapt business development approaches to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Monitor industry developments, technological advancements, and customer needs to uncover potential business avenues.
  • Proposal Development & Presentations:

    • Work with internal teams (including BU and CMG) to prepare persuasive proposals and presentations that address client requirements.
    • Ensure that all proposals align with client needs and the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Contract Negotiation & Deal Closing:

    • Assist in negotiating contract terms, pricing models, and service agreements in collaboration with the Business Unit.
    • Close deals by effectively presenting value propositions and finalizing contract agreements.
  • Strategic Planning & Sales Performance:

    • Develop and implement business development strategies aimed at achieving growth objectives.
    • Track, monitor, and report on sales performance, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including the Business Unit and Content Management Group (CMG), to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Collaborate on the development of strategic growth plans.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience:

    • 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar field, with a focus on content management, publishing, or related industries.
  • Core Competencies:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage clients at all levels.
    • Negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to business development.
    • Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and adapt strategies to changing market conditions.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Additional Preferred Skills:

    • Familiarity with Content Management and Publishing industry trends and challenges.
    • Experience analyzing data to inform business decisions and strategy development.
