Role & responsibilities Job Title: Business Development Executive Location: Kalher, Thane Experience: 2 to 6Years Department: Sales & Business Development Key Responsibilities: Government Tender Management: Identify and analyze relevant government tenders from various sources including the GEM portal. Prepare required documentation and ensure timely submission of tenders. Maintain records and follow up on tender status and results. Handling RFQs (Request for Quotations): Review RFQ documents and extract technical and commercial requirements. Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, technical inputs, and proposal preparation. Ensure accurate and complete RFQ submissions as per client guidelines. GEM Portal Management: Regularly monitor and update company profile and listings on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM). Upload products/services, track opportunities, and participate in bids on the GEM portal. Ensure compliance with GEM terms and bidding procedures. Client Communication & Coordination: Communicate with government departments, clients, and consultants to understand project requirements. Build and maintain professional relationships to enhance tender success rate. Attend pre-bid meetings and provide necessary inputs for successful participation. Technical & Computer Knowledge: Utilize computer applications to prepare documents, presentations, and tender submissions. Use MS Office, PDF tools, and online portals efficiently. Understand basic technical specifications of engineering products and services. Required Skills & Qualifications: Graduate in Engineering, Business, or related field. 24 years of relevant experience in handling government tenders, GEM, and RFQs. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and internet usage. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Working knowledge of technical products and specifications is essential. Preferred candidate profile : Manufacturing Background required.
