As a Catalog Associate at Newme, you will be a crucial part of maintaining the accuracy and quality of product data on our platform. Your role involves ensuring that each product is effectively represented with up-to-date and fashion-forward information. By leveraging your knowledge of fashion trends and attributes, you will contribute to enhancing product discoverability, search relevance, and overall customer experience. Collaboration across various teams is essential to ensure timely product launches with the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire product listing process, guaranteeing consistency and alignment with the brand, crafting engaging and SEO-friendly descriptions tailored for Gen Z consumers, and refining attribute data to optimize search results. Working closely with the Data Science team, you will focus on search and ranking optimization to drive better conversions. Additionally, you will collaborate with taxonomy and product teams to adapt attribute structures according to industry trends, conduct regular catalog audits, and coordinate with other departments to ensure catalog readiness and timely product launches aligned with campaigns. To excel in this role, you should hold a fashion degree from reputable institutes like NIFT, NID, Pearl Academy, or equivalent, and have at least 2 years of experience in cataloging, product data management, or fashion merchandising. A deep understanding of fashion products, styling elements, and trend terminology is essential, along with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, combined with a genuine passion for fashion and trend awareness, will be key to success in this role at Newme.,
