Battery Engineer

As a Battery Engineer specializing in Solid-State Electrolytes, you will play a crucial role in the development of next-generation metal anode-solid electrolyte batteries at QpiVolta. Your responsibilities will include cell fabrication, characterization, and vendor management, all while working alongside a team of dedicated scientists and engineers committed to innovation and collaboration in a state-of-the-art Battery R&D lab. To excel in this role, you are expected to have a B.Tech/ Master degree in Materials Science, Energy Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 2-3 years of industrial experience in energy storage. Your expertise should encompass materials synthesis, cell fabrication, and characterization using analytical techniques such as XRD, SEM-EDX, TEM, XPS, DSC/TGA, and X-ray tomography. Moreover, a solid understanding of ion transport in solid-state electrolytes, laboratory safety protocols, and a proactive approach to learning new skills are essential for success in this position. In addition to the required qualifications, experience in Lab Technology and Management, theoretical studies, computational works, high-throughput experimentation, and laboratory operations management are desirable skills that can enhance your contribution to the team.
