As the Development Geologist cum Modeller at our company, you will play a crucial role in integrating geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and engineering data to create robust static models for field development and reservoir management. Your expertise will contribute to strategic decision-making and cross-functional collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Your key responsibilities will include: 1. **Geological Interpretation & Subsurface Understanding**: You will be proficient in interpreting depositional environments and conducting seismic facies analysis across various systems. 2. **Static Modelling Expertise**: Developing complex structure models, applying stochastic and deterministic approaches to facies/property modelling, performing volumetric analysis, uncertainty quantification, and multi-scenario evaluations. 3. **Reservoir Engineering Collaboration**: Collaborating closely with Reservoir Engineers on dynamic modelling, upscaling, and history matching, providing static input for material balance and production forecasts. 4. **Development & Appraisal Planning**: Contributing to Field Development Plans, full field reviews, brownfield/greenfield development, and evaluating near-field exploration opportunities. 5. **Well Planning & Operations**: Guiding well planning, geo-steering, and real-time subsurface decision-making, defining and supervising data acquisition strategies in exploration, appraisal, and development wells. 6. **Integration with Other Disciplines**: Providing geological input into drilling, facilities, and economic models, participating in risk and uncertainty analyses, and supporting full-cycle E&P workflows. 7. **Leadership & Mentoring**: Leading and mentoring junior geoscientists, fostering technical development within the team, and effectively working in integrated teams with other disciplines. **Education Requirement**: - Postgraduate in Geology/Applied Geology from a recognized university **Experience Requirement**: - 12-15 years of experience with strong modelling skills **Skills & Competencies**: - Advanced expertise in sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy, structural geology, and basin development - Proficiency in industry tools like Petrel - Strong skills in structural and facies mapping, petrophysical property mapping using geostatistical methods - Experience with seismic inversion, AVO analysis, seismic attribute interpretation for facies and fluid characterization - Understanding of petrophysical interpretation, RCA, SCAL, core sedimentology, image log, and NMR analysis - Ability to integrate rock and log data into geomodelling workflows,

As a Development Geologist cum Modeller, you are required to have a postgraduate degree in Geology/Applied Geology from a recognized university. You should possess 12-15 years of experience with excellent modelling skills. Advanced expertise in sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy, structural geology, and basin development is necessary. Proficiency in industry tools like Petrel, strong skills in structural and facies mapping, and experience with seismic inversion, AVO analysis, and seismic attribute interpretation are also required. An understanding of petrophysical interpretation, RCA, SCAL, core sedimentology, image log, and NMR analysis is crucial. Your ability to integrate rock and log data into geomodelling workflows will be a key competency for this role.,
