Job Description

Name of the position: BA/Data Analyst

Location: Remote

No. of resources needed : 01

Mode: Contract (2 Months )

Years of experience: 7+ Years

Shift : 2pm to 11pm IST

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced BA/Data Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders and data engineers to design data models and support reporting and analytics needs. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, data modeling, and translating requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and document business requirements for analytics and reporting use cases. Collaborate with data engineers and modelers to design data models that support BI and analytical needs. Create and manage data mappings, source-to-target documents, and logical data models. Work with BI tools to validate reports and ensure data quality. Support UAT and ensure requirements are met by the delivered solution.

Requirements:

7 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in a data-focused environment. Strong skills in SQL, data analysis, and requirements documentation. Proven experience designing or contributing to dimensional and relational data models. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
