Proven hands-on experience with Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, and Avamar. Familiarity with VMware, Windows, and Linux environments. Configure and maintain Azure Backup and Recovery Services Vaults for various workloads (VMs, SQL, Azure Files, etc ).

Storage Responsibilities: Dell EMC PowerStore: • Configure and manage PowerStore T/X models including block, file, and VMwareintegrated storage. • Perform storage provisioning, LUN creation, volume groups, and host mappings. • Monitor performance and system health via Unisphere for PowerStore. • Configure replication, snapshots, thin clones, and data reduction technologies. • Apply firmware updates, drive replacements, and hardware expansions. NetApp ONTAP Storage: • Manage NetApp FAS/AFF arrays using ONTAP 9.x (Clustered Mode). • Configure and maintain aggregates, volumes, LUNs, and qtrees. • Administer CIFS/NFS shares, SnapMirror, SnapVault, FlexClone, and SnapCenter. • Monitor and optimize storage using Active IQ Unified Manager and System Manager. • Troubleshoot NetApp storage issues related to performance, replication, and access control. General Duties: • Provide SAN zoning, iSCSI/FC connectivity, and LUN masking for Linux/Windows/VMware hosts. • Collaborate with virtualization, backup, and database teams to align storage with workload requirements. • Plan and execute disaster recovery simulations and data migration tasks. • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, runbooks, and topology diagrams. • Troubleshoot alerts and coordinate with vendor support (NetApp, Dell EMC) for escalated issues. • Ensure compliance with RTO/RPO, backup retention, and audit requirements.

Setting up a new backup job for a specific server or application. Performing a file or folder restore for a user. Troubleshooting a basic backup error, such as a failed job or a full storage pool. Monitoring backup logs and alerts for potential problems. Creating user accounts and permissions within the Commvault environment. Ensuring that backups are configured to meet the organizations data retention policies
