What we are looking for:

to join our agile scrum pod. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with other developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and testing.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in agile scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product owners to understand user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Design, develop, and maintain software features and capabilities.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Leverage Generative AI Tools for code generation, code review and test automation.
• Work with Quality Assurance leads to implement unit and integration tests leveraging agentic tools to automate regression testing to ensure code quality and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Document technical design and approach for software solutions.
• Continuously improve software development practices and processes.
• Construct software packaging pipelines for continuous integration leveraging test automation, security testing, and performance verification.
• Provide specifications and implement continuous deployments using industry standard CI/CD tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years and proficiency with computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Expertise in Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with Maven build automation.
• Strong experience with REST API development.
• Strong experience with caching platforms such as Redis.
• Strong experience integrating with logging and telemetry platforms.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Familiarity with code coverage, unit/integration tests, TDD, and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Azure Dev Ops).
• Understanding of agile software development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other modern programming languages (e.g. NodeJS, C#/.NET, Go).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash, Powershell).
• Experience with gRPC protocol or socket connections.
• Deep Experience with ORMs such as Hibernate, Entity Framework, etc.
• Experience with AWS Infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• One or more of AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer Associate certifications.
• Experience working with coding agents, such as Github Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
