AV Operations and Standards Engineer

As the Vice President, AV Operations and Standard Engineer at BNY, you will play a crucial role in configuring AV equipment, troubleshooting system issues, conducting maintenance checks, and providing training to users. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of AV systems with other technology infrastructure and staying updated with the latest AV technologies and trends. Your key responsibilities will include configuring AV equipment such as displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, and control systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues, conduct regular maintenance checks, and provide training and support to users on effective AV system usage. Additionally, you will collaborate with the AV Events Team and other IT Teams to ensure the proper functioning of AV systems. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of AV technologies and systems, along with experience in installing and maintaining AV equipment. Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. A bachelor's degree in a related field like audio engineering, video production, or computer science is typically required, as well as relevant certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or similar.
