Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Automation QA Engineer I to join our dynamic quality assurance team. This role is perfect for someone with foundational experience in test automation who wants to grow their career in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Youll be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our automotive retail solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test infrastructure.

Quality Assurance

Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities.
Create comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on functional requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
Document and track defects using bug tracking tools.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers.
Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Provide clear and concise reports on test execution results and quality metrics.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
1-3 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Experience with mobile application testing.
Knowledge of database testing and SQL.
Previous experience in the automotive or retail industry.
Understanding of microservices architecture.
