Assurance Supervisor 1 - Investment Funds

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assurance Supervisor 1 to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have between 4 to 7 years of experience in accounting and audit, with a strong background in assurance services. Roles and Responsibility Provide timely, high-quality client service as part of the client engagement teams serving large and small companies. Develop strong working relationships while closely understanding and solving clients' complex business challenges. Perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based on the overall audit plan. Identify areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues, discussing them with engagement teams to resolve problems. Prepare audit reports and management letters, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Supervise and develop training for associates, taking ownership of assigned tasks to ensure service excellence. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Commerce/MBA Qualified or Chartered Accountant/ACCA/Licensed CPA. Possess strong technical skills in accounting, including GAAP and GAAS, along with advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas). Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals. Exhibit strong multi-tasking and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely completion of work. Have familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards and Regulations, as well as experience working with investment funds and related industries.
