Roles and Responsibilities Categories Managed: e.g., Mens Casualwear, Womens Western wear, Owned PCL and strategic growth plans for high-volume categories, driving double-digit revenue growth and healthy margin delivery year-on-year. Led range planning and brand mapping strategies aligned with consumer trends, ensuring commercial relevance and style freshness across seasons. Oversaw inventory planning, sell-through performance, and liquidation strategies, reducing aging inventory and optimizing in-season replenishment. Partnered with marketing, sales, and product teams to drive brand visibility and sell- through across owned and marketplace channels. Led a team of buyers and planners, fostering a high-performance culture with clear KPIs, upskilling interventions, and succession planning. Qualifications Experience 12+ years of experience in buying and merchandising within the fashion and e-commerce industries, with a proven track record of driving category growth and profitability. Deep expertise in fashion buying strategy, product life cycle management, category expansion, and managing complex assortments across multiple brands and channels Strong commercial and marketplace acumen with a deep understanding of evolving consumer behavior, industry trends, and digital retail dynamics. Demonstrated excellence in vendor management, supply chain agility, and price negotiations, managing Marketplace sellers Highly analytical with an ability to lead data-driven decision-making, leveraging sales, inventory, discount, and margin analytics to shape assortment and pricing strategies. Recognized for strategic thinking, business judgment, and an ability to balance creative vision with operational efficiency and financial targets. Proven leadership in building and mentoring large, high-performing teams, with a focus on succession planning and cross-functional collaboration.
