Associate Data Architect I

The Data Architect / Cloud Data Specialist role requires 9-12 years of experience and is based in Kochi and Trivandrum. As a Data Architect / Cloud Data Specialist, you will leverage your expertise in data architecture and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) to design, develop, and implement data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions. Your responsibilities include architecting and implementing ETL/data warehouse solutions, data pipelines, and cloud data tools. You will also design data acquisition, transformation, and modelling strategies based on business workflows and develop data models, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions. Data governance standards such as naming conventions, security, backup, and recovery will be defined by you. Additionally, you will guide estimation, troubleshooting, and POC development for customer-specific solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance. Mentoring team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices, and staying current with emerging technologies and relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP/Big Data/ML) are also key aspects of this role. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in database architecture, ETL, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in data workflow design, data modelling, and BI tools is required. Familiarity with big data technologies, scripting languages (Python, Java), SQL, project management, agile practices, and supporting medium-sized projects is essential. An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and certifications in cloud or big data technologies are preferred.
