Assistant Professor of English

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching & Academic Delivery:

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in English Literature, Linguistics, or Communication Skills.
• Prepare course materials, reading lists, assignments, and assessments.
• Engage students through interactive and inclusive teaching methods.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.

2. Research & Publications:

• Undertake independent or collaborative research leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Participate in academic conferences, workshops, and seminars.
• Seek research funding or grants where applicable.

3. Curriculum Development:

• Contribute to the design and revision of course syllabi and program structures.
• Integrate contemporary topics and interdisciplinary approaches into teaching.

4. Student Mentorship & Support:

• Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students.
• Supervise undergraduate or postgraduate dissertations and projects.

5. Departmental & Institutional Contribution:

• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and university events.
• Assist in organizing academic and literary events like seminars, debates, workshops, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,300.15 - ₹30,000.00 per month
