Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Inspection & Monitoring Conduct daily inspections, monitor processes, and verify compliance with quality standards.

2. Reporting & Documentation Perform day-to-day inspections and prepare detailed reports on findings and deviations.

3. Instrument Calibration – Oversee the calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.

4. Laboratory Equipment Management – Monitor and maintain the calibration and functionality of laboratory equipment.

5. Quality Control – Track, analyse, and manage rejections and rework to improve product quality and reduce defects.

6. Workplace Organization (5S) – Implement and sustain 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

7. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) – Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs across the shop floor to ensure compliance with industry standards.

8. GEMBA Walks – Lead and participate in GEMBA walks, Quality Circles and Others to identify areas for process improvement and enhance operational efficiency.

9. New Product Development (NPD) – Support new product development initiatives by ensuring quality and process adherence during implementation.

10. Pressure Testing – Conduct and oversee pressure testing procedures to validate product integrity and compliance with specifications.

11. Quality Management System – Capable to handle the Audit and Prepare the documents for QMS department.

  1. Shift Maintenance

    – Shift Activities Maintaining and Team Handling.

Skills:

1. Problem-Solving & Quality Tools – Proficient in 8D methodology and various quality tools for root cause analysis and corrective actions.

2. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) – Basic knowledge of NDT techniques for inspecting material integrity and detecting defects.

3. Instrumentation & Equipment Handling – Skilled in operating, handling, and maintaining precision instruments and industrial equipment.

4. Collaboration & Communication – Strong team player with effective communication skills to coordinate across departments.

5. Manufacturing Processes – Knowledgeable in press and forming operations, ensuring process efficiency and quality compliance.

6. Technical Expertise – Familiar with technical drawings, welding processes, and interpretation of blueprints for quality assurance.
