Job Role & Description:

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the effective upkeep, operation, and reliability of equipment used in ice cream and dairy production. This role requires strong technical expertise, team management skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of ice cream manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to Continuous Freezers, Ammonia Freezers, Cone & Cup Machines, Candy Machines, Homogenizers, Pasteurizers, and Shear Mixers.
• Develop and execute spare parts planning and manage inventory control to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance personnel, providing technical guidance and ensuring timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Uphold and maintain housekeeping standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the maintenance area and production floor.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to support overall operational efficiency.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the dairy and ice cream industry.
• Proven hands-on experience in equipment maintenance within ice cream and dairy manufacturing plants.
• Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in ice cream and dairy processing environments.
