Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Assists in the oversight of the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry at The Westin Pune Koregaon Park. Collaborates with employees to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas. Conducts inspections and ensures corrective actions are taken by the team. Supports guest and employee satisfaction while adhering to the operating budget. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major from an accredited university is accepted with no work experience required. Key Responsibilities include: - Communicating guest room status promptly to the Front Desk and coordinating with the Engineering department for maintenance needs. - Supervising the general cleaning schedule and preparing work assignments for immediate cleaning or upcoming check-outs. - Managing inventory to ensure an adequate supply of guestroom supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms. - Overseeing daily Housekeeping shift operations and enforcing housekeeping standards and procedures. - Assisting in ordering supplies and supporting an effective inspection program for guestrooms and public areas. - Managing departmental expenses to meet budgeted goals and understanding the financial impact on the property's overall objectives. In terms of Customer Service, the role involves responding to guest issues, enhancing service performance, empowering employees to deliver excellent service, and focusing on continuous improvement. The candidate will also be involved in Human Resources activities such as staffing supervision, training, performance appraisals, and disciplinary procedures to ensure fair and consistent administration of property policies.
