Job Description

Mechanical Assembler - Pumps & Agitators (NOV-Energy Equipment- FMS division) About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in assembling industrial pumps, agitators, or rotating equipment, with a strong understanding of mechanical drawings and precision fitting. You will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and inspection of mechanical components to ensure high standards of performance and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble pumps, agitators, and related mechanical equipment according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications. Perform alignment, fitting, torque tightening, and basic mechanical testing.

Ensure all parts and assemblies meet quality and safety standards.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in clean and safe condition.

Identify and report faulty components or assembly issues. Assist in packaging and dispatch preparation after final inspection.

Collaborate with quality and engineering teams for continuous improvements.

Requirements:

ITI in Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.

7 to 8 years of experience in assembling pumps, agitators, or similar rotating equipment Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and BOMs.

Familiarity with tools such as torque wrenches, dial indicators, and micrometres.

Good understanding of tolerances, fits, and assembly practices.

Basic knowledge of safety standards and quality control. Preferred Skills:

Experience with mechanical seal fitting, bearing installation, and shaft alignment.

Exposure to hydraulic or pneumatic testing.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Team player with a problem-solving mindset. What We Offer:
