Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Officer – Dairy / FMCG Products
Location: Madurai
Salary: ₹16,000 to ₹18,000 per month (Take Home)
Experience: Minimum 1–2 Years in Dairy / FMCG
Industry: Dairy / FMCG / Food Products

Job Responsibilities:

Handle sales and distribution of dairy products (milk, curd, ghee, paneer, etc.) in Madurai and surrounding areas.
Appoint and manage distributors, retailers, and stockists in the assigned region.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Conduct market visits regularly for order booking, product visibility, and relationship building.
Implement promotional schemes and ensure proper product placement.
Collect market intelligence including competitor pricing, offers, and new launches.
Coordinate with logistics and supply chain for timely delivery of products.
Maintain daily sales reports and submit timely updates to management.
Ensure payment collection and maintain good credit discipline in the market.
Handle customer queries and resolve issues related to delivery or product quality.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of dairy product sales
Familiarity with Madurai and nearby market routes
Good communication and negotiation skills
Target-driven and self-motivated
Basic computer skills (Excel, WhatsApp reporting, etc.)
Ability to work independently and handle field pressure

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma
Experience: Minimum 1–2 Years in Dairy Product Sales (Mandatory)
Two-Wheeler: Must have with valid driving license
Language: Must be fluent in Tamil; basic English preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
