Area Sales Executive

Job Summary: We are looking for a results-driven Area Sales Executive to promote and sell our solar energy products and EPC solutions within an assigned geographic area. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B and B2C sales, a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector, and the ability to build lasting relationships with channel partners, contractors, and end clients. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory for solar products and services. Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, and participation in trade shows/events. Manage channel partners, installers, and dealers to drive regional sales targets. Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including technical product information and pricing. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and sales agreements tailored to customer needs. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Stay updated with market trends, competitor activity, and policy developments affecting the solar industry. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales performance using CRM tools. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. 2–5 years of proven experience in field sales, preferably in the solar, electrical, or energy sector. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, travel extensively within the assigned area. Knowledge of solar PV products (panels, inverters, batteries, etc.) and the sales cycle. Preferred Qualifications: Experience selling rooftop solar solutions, off-grid systems, or EPC solar services. Familiarity with MNRE/State policies, net-metering, and government tenders. Comfortable using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
