Application Support Engineer

Expected Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience

Required Skills & Tools

• Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Root Cause Analysis)
  
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, IBM SCCD
  
• Proficient in Windows/Linux administration
  
• Experience working with Tomcat, JBoss, Apache
  
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Zabbix, Grafana
  
• Familiarity with messaging systems RabbitMQ and Kafka
  
• API integration experience using tools like Postman and SoapUI
  
• Proficient scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell
  
• Experience in application lifecycle support, deployment, and migration
  
• Error analysis using logs and configuration files (.json, .properties)
  

Nice-to-Have Skills & Tools

• Kubernetes, Docker, VMware
  
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  
• Azure platform knowledge
  
• Experience with BizTalk, ESB, microservices, API Gateway
  
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Helm
  
• Understanding of serverless and event-driven architectures
  

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production systems and business applications
  
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and resolve issues
  
• Coordinate with development and DevOps teams for monitoring and troubleshooting
