Your role at Micron Technology involves assuming management responsibility for Disaster Recovery planning efforts, with a focus on ensuring the adequacy of contingency plans for critical business areas, functions, and applications. You will work closely with business unit management to enhance disaster recovery plans, aiming to mitigate the impact of technology system or application failures. Your key objectives include enabling business units to manage assets effectively, meet regulatory obligations, and uphold their presence in the marketplace. As part of your responsibilities, you will provide direct communication between the BCP/Crisis Management Team, IT DR Stakeholders, Incident Response Teams, ITLT & Business Users. Additionally, you will participate in business unit and development planning meetings, facilitating the timely identification, escalation, resolution, and follow-up of outstanding issues. You will play a leadership role in developing comprehensive contingency plans and validation methodologies to ensure Micron's ability to recover in the event of disruptions. Your role will also involve performing various job duties such as metrics gathering, planning, testing, documentation, and providing Disaster Recovery Planning documentation and training to employees. You will conduct periodic reviews and tests of established Disaster Recovery plans, reporting findings to management and making recommendations for improvements as necessary. To excel in this role, you should have 2-5 years of experience and a background in team environments related to Business Impact Analysis projects and ITDR program work. You should possess a sound knowledge of Information and operational technologies, information security practices, and have experience in conducting risk assessments and impact analysis work. Additionally, you should understand the relationship between business impact analysis, risk assessments, and IT disaster recovery plan development. Preferred skills for this role include a combination of IT disaster recovery and business continuity concepts knowledge. Experience in planning, leading, organizing, and controlling IT system-related projects for the enterprise is also desirable. Key Responsibilities: Application Analysis and Configuration: Lead the analysis and evaluation of application functionality to enhance business processes and capabilities. Determine and document the optimal application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements. Configure and verify complex application setups and configurations. Solution Development and Support: Stay current with emerging application trends and functionality, providing functional expertise for assigned applications and systems. Analyze potential application solutions, identifying and recommending solutions for functionality gaps. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, improving application functionality and resolving complex issues. Collaboration and Documentation: Partner with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts, and architects to gather, document, and review requirements. Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned applications, leading the creation and management of functional specifications for projects. Educate, coach, and train team members to improve support request handling and overall efficiency. Functional Expertise and Support: Act as a point of contact for application content, processes, and functionality. Lead the implementation of Step 3 improvements after obtaining necessary approvals. Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position Skills and Experience: Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS services (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS). Proficiency with AWS SDKs, CLI, and CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild). Experience with Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB). Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies and performance monitoring for distributed web applications. Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, and Java. Application Development and Configuration: Proficiency in Angular/React and understanding of dependency injection, authentication, and authorization patterns. Experience with unit testing frameworks and documentation of technical concepts. Project Management and Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence). Ability to lead and manage projects, ensuring alignment with business, technical, and compliance requirements.
