Job Description

Location: Gurugram and Field Visits (PAN-India) Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Manager with expertise in sales and in-depth knowledge of government liasoning, tender acquisition, and documentation processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in dealing with government departments, with the ability to navigate the complexities of government tenders and compliance requirements. The Assistant Manager will play a critical role in coordinating sales activities, acquiring government tenders, and ensuring smooth and efficient tender documentation processes. Key Responsibilities: Sales Coordination: Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand the client base. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including government entities and contractors. Conduct market research and identify opportunities for sales growth in the waste management sector. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery of services. Government Tenders & Documentation: Expertly identify, source, and acquire government tenders related to waste management and environmental services. Lead the preparation and submission of government tenders, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements. Review and manage the tender submission process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all necessary documentation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government policies, regulations, and requirements pertaining to waste management tenders. Assist in negotiations and communication with government agencies to secure contracts. Client Relationship Management: Act as one of the primary point of contact for government clients during the tender process and throughout the project lifecycle. Provide excellent customer service and support to government clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term business relationships. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any client issues and ensure successful project execution. Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on sales performance, including progress on government tenders and other sales activities. Maintain accurate records of all communications, tenders, and contracts for reference and analysis. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in handling government projects. Proven experience in the waste management industry, with a strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and governmental procurement processes. Expertise in managing the end-to-end government tender process, including sourcing, documentation, and submission. Strong knowledge of government liasoning practices, compliance regulations, and environmental laws. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong personality with analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in using sales software and tools (CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.). Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail, particularly in the preparation of tender documents. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Environmental Science, or a related field. Additional certifications in tender management or public procurement are a plus. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive. Strong team player with a collaborative mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
