Job Description: As an Assistant Manager - Communications at WWF-India, you will play a crucial role in the Marketing and Communications team. Your responsibilities will include writing and editing stories/articles for print collaterals such as newsletters and annual reports. You will be creating engaging content for various digital communication channels and platforms, including websites, social media, emailers, and fundraising initiatives. Your role will also involve generating and pitching fresh content ideas and conducting thorough scientific research on conservation topics. In this position, you will have the opportunity to travel to field offices across India to conduct on-field interviews and create audio and visual content during field trips. You will utilize your storytelling skills to produce compelling content by combining text, images, audio, and video effectively. Collaboration with different teams within WWF-India is essential to ensure the production and distribution of strategic stories that align with the objectives of all departments. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Creative Writing, Journalism, or Communications. A minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant writing, storytelling, and content creation across print and digital platforms is required. Proficiency in content marketing, SEO, and social media strategies is essential. Additionally, familiarity with AV equipment, MS Office, Canva, and online platforms like WordPress CMS and social media platforms is preferred. Your willingness to travel and conduct interviews, along with a creative mindset and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, will be key to your success in this position.
