Your primary responsibilities as an AI QA Engineer will include designing, writing, and executing test plans and test cases for AI/ML-based applications. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and developers to ensure the quality, safety, and reliability of our AI-powered products and features. Conducting functional, regression, and exploratory testing on AI components and APIs will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will validate model outputs for accuracy, fairness, bias, and explainability, and implement adversarial testing, edge cases, and out-of-distribution data scenarios. To excel in this role, you must possess foundational QA skills with a strong knowledge of test design, defect management, and the QA lifecycle. Having experience with risk-based testing and QA strategy is essential. Furthermore, a basic understanding of machine learning workflows, training/inference cycles, and AI quality challenges such as bias, fairness, and transparency is required. Proficiency in Python programming for test automation, hands-on experience with API testing tools, and familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and integration testing are also key technical capabilities for this role. In addition to technical skills, soft skills such as excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, strong collaboration, and communication abilities are vital.
