Job Description: Position : Manager Air Imports Operations (North) Location : Delhi / Gurgaon Budget : Up to 22 LPA Team Handling : Approx. 20 Members Function : Air Freight Import Operations Reporting to : Regional Leadership Key Responsibilities : Operations & Strategy Manage, control, and develop AFR Import operational activities in line with group strategy. Optimize business assets and human resources to deliver maximum profitability. Ensure strong coordination with the network for smooth import flow and operational excellence. Supervise regional P&L for AFR Imports, including satellite stations. Drive and implement product launches and enhancements. Customer Management Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Manage complaint resolution and ensure service satisfaction. Support Sales during customer visits and closures. Carrier & Supplier Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers. Drive performance improvements and resolve operational issues efficiently. Quality & Compliance Monitor and enforce service and quality standards. Ensure overall billing accuracy and timeliness. Handle customer/network claims and ensure timely resolution. Responsible for Credit Control-related commercial issue resolution. Team & Leadership Lead and deploy the Import operations team (~20 members). Monitor team performance and ensure skill development. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business development plans to achieve company objectives, including sales targets and market penetration goals. Market Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and pre-processing technological advancements in the alternate fuel sector. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to support the business development process. Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance, report on key business development metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
